Welcome to Bulak Designs

Bulak Designs is a family-owned and operated company based in Ocean City, Maryland, under the leadership of Jacek Bulak, P.E.

Mr. Bulak has been a Professional Engineer since 2021 (MD 51144), with over seven years of engineering experience, having graduated from the prestigious Krakow University of Technology with a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering. With extensive experience in wood, steel, and concrete design/analysis in accordance with the American standards (IBC, IRC, ASCE, ACI, NDS, and AISC); he also has a vast knowledge for using the following programs: TEKLA Structural Designer, TEDDS, RISA 2D, StruCalc, AutoCAD 2D, and TEKLA Structures. Mr. Bulak is an expert in design of structural components of both new and renovation projects for small commercial and residential structures.

At Bulak Designs we offer structural design or evaluation of multi-story residential homes; structural design or evaluation of small to medium commercial structures; foundation for PEMB structures; steel framing analysis; wood and steel connections, and miscellaneous structural design.

We are also a complete shop and field drawings for structural steel fabrication. Our detailing team is supervised by a highly experienced steel industry checker to ensure that all drawings coming out from our office are of excellent quality regardless of their complexity.
